Specialty Pet Training is excited to launch the NEW Assisted Agility program for our XDog Agility Challenge.
Starting this September in Colleyville, we will be starting our Assisted Agility program for those who are in need.  What this means is there will be a handler assigned to the dog and will do the running with the dog during the agility course training. This does not mean people can drop their dog off.  Their help will be needed.  "Building confidence in the dog and helping the handler is encouraged during the first introduction phase of the course" states Anne O'Neill, owner and trainer.  "Some standing will be required. However during the later phase of the course when the dog will start to run through the equipment – the handler will take over.  Owners can then sit on the side-lines and cheer their dog on!!" An extra fee of $45 will be added to the course fee for this program – however the enjoyment, photos and fun their dog will have is priceless!!

Specialty Pet Training
is helping Dallas area dogs and pups get back on track with their Good Manners Workshop.  They have redesigned their Good Manners Workshop due to the large amount of reactive, overly excited and overly exuberant dog problems seen on-leash in the last year.  “I have had more clients with leash problems than most any other behavior issue; a close second would be the dog jumping up on guests.  Due to this I have created a customized workshop designed to help those two specific issues", states Specialty Pet Training’s owner, trainer and behavior specialist Anne O’Neill.

The Good Manners Workshop is a three week behavior focused and intensive workshop.  We teach the dog to walk nicely on the leash and not to pull. We teach them to sit instead of jump up on guests as well as other good manners. The people who have completed it and followed the curriculum have seen wonderful results.  “I use this workshop as a great compliment to my puppy programs, in home programs and to fine tune basic obedience.  It is also the next step in my dog-dog or dog-leash aggression in home programs.” states Anne.

Any dog, any age and any breed is welcomed. We service the North Dallas, Carrollton, Plano, Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake and Coppell areas with this workshop. For more details and to see schedule click here.

It has been great for Molly to see her old friends again and learn some fun new obstacles. Anne is so patient and really helps us understand how to guide our dogs." says student Kayle with her dog Molly the Mastiff. "I've had all kinds of dogs in my XDog class - everything from chubby cocker spaniels, to huge danes and mastiffs. This class is open to all breeds, shapes and speeds.
